Angling Worldwide caters for clients of all experience levels. Advice and packages will be tailored to your unique and exacting requirements. We can offer beginner packages teaching you the correct and best ways to approach fishing, along with crucial tutelage on areas such as reading the water. We can also cater for the more experienced who would like to further progress their skills, learn new

methods, and help capitalise on every fishing day and situation. The advice, tutelage, and experience of our instructors are unsurpassed and are highly recommended if you’re a novice to this angle of the sport – they can mean the difference between a good trip and a great trip!

We have a multitude of species at your disposal through our packages, including; Carp (Commons, Crucian, Grass, Mirror, F1’s, F2’s, Ghost), Tench, Rudd, Bream, Orfe, Pike, Perch, Roach, Chub, Barbel, and the mighty Gudgeon! We have a variety of lakes and rivers on offer to suit your needs, ranging from; match lakes with a good head of mixed species, through to specimen lakes with Grass, Mirror, and Common Carp to over 30lbs, with a sprinkling over 40lbs! Fishing Season

The majority of the lakes that we offer packages on are open all-year round, without a closed season. As such, we are able to offer you a coarse fishing package, of some description, every day of the year!

The normal coarse fishing season applies for all rivers, with the season being; June 16 th through to March 14 th. Packages can be undertaken at all other times on rivers, including the main summer months and throughout the winter. We have the knowledge to be able to advise you on when you should be where, so contact us with your requirements and we’ll do the rest.

Accommodation

Can be tailored and arranged to your exacting needs. We can arrange anything from campsites, B&B’s, plush hotels,

	through to self-catering cottages. Contact us with your requirements and we will do the rest. Please note that cottages and self catering units should be booked several months in advance to assure availability – they book up fast, as can hotels and B&B’s.
	Fishing licences and permits
	A coarse fishing rod licence is necessary for all that undertake these packages. UK residents can buy these prior to their arrival, or within the fishing locality. We can purchase these in advance for visiting/foreign anglers and include them in the cost of the package. Permits will be included in the price of the package and will be arranged prior to your arrival. We want to make your stay as enjoyable and stress-free as possible, ensuring that’s all you have to concentrate on is catching fish!

Tackle

Tackle should be carried to reflect your target species and tactics to be used. For lakes; General carp fishing rods of 2lb test-curves with 10lbs nylon or heavier braid should suffice for the majority of waters, with float/match rods being great all-rounders for the multi-species waters. For rivers; Avon/quiver rods with a 1.5lbs TC will cover most situations being capable of taming the wildest and strongest of barbel and chub. Our instructors will advise you on suitable set-ups, rigs, areas, and tactics (on guided days). Tackle is available on loan for those without suitable set-ups, and for those that don’t want the hassle of bringing fishing gear with them on holiday – the cost of which can be included in your package, contact us with your requirements.

Baits

A variety of baits work on the waters that we provide, and further advice will be given to all bookings to suit the water to be fished, upon request. As a general guideline the following standard baits should be carried; maggots, sweetcorn, meat baits, pellets, boilies, worms, bread, casters, hemp.
Clothing
Waterproof overtrousers and a rain jacket are highly recommended, as are buoyancy aids. Bring plenty of warm clothing in all seasons as the weather can get very changeable. An old towel or rag can be very useful for wiping your hands on. Sunglasses and a hat are essential for reducing glare and for general safety.

Travel arrangements

We can arrange a hire car from all major UK airports, with the nearest being Cardiff and Bristol . Transfers can be arranged from railway stations to your accommodation, at an extra cost. Transfers can be arranged to and from the fishing venue to and from your accommodation, at an extra cost.
